- Private Eric George Joyce, Royal Army Ordnance Corps. He had grown up in Dartford and his mother still lived at 11 Bullace Lane. Died 21.10.43, aged 21, of wounds received in North Africa. Buried in Alexandria (Hadra) War Memorial Cemetery, Egypt.
