- Lieutenant Sidney Arthur Kilworth Keyes, Queen’s Own Royal West Kent Regiment. He had grown up in his grandfather’s house, The Dene (now the site of Dene Road), off Darenth Road, Dartford. Died 29.4.43, aged 20, killed in action in Tunisia. Buried in Massicault War Cemetery, Tunisia, and commemorated on the Dartford Grammar School In Memoriam Panel.
