- Serjeant John Kenneth (‘Ken’) McKenzie, 2nd Battalion, Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment). Presumably lived with his parents at 74 Lawson Villas, Priory Road, Dartford, prior to his marriage after which his new wife is known to have lived somewhere in Lane End. Died 24.2.44, aged 22, killed in action in Italy. Buried in Beach Head War Cemetery, Anzio, Italy.
