Chief Motor Mechanic Ernest Benjamin Marsden, HM Motor Launch 298, Royal Navy. Lived at 67 Hythe Street, Dartford. Died 28.3.42, aged 35, during the British raid on St Nazaire. Commemorated on the Chatham Naval Memorial.
