- Lieutenant Richard Marshall Thomas Meager, 2nd Battalion, The Queen’s Royal Regiment (West Surrey), attached to the Northamptonshire Regiment. His parents lived in Bexleyheath but he attended Dartford Grammar School 1937-40. Died 29.4.44, aged 19, cause unknown. Buried in Beach Head War Cemetery, Anzio, Italy, and commemorated on the Dartford Grammar School In Memoriam Panel
