- Flying Officer (Pilot) Gregor Stephen Moore, 18 (Pilots) Advanced Flying Unit, Royal Canadian Air Force. His home address was in Penticton, Canada, but his aunt lived at 67 Spring Vale, Dartford, and arranged his burial. Died 27.4.44, aged 20, when his unarmed Airspeed Oxford trainer was attacked by a Messerschmitt Me 410 during a night exercise from RAF Church Lawford, Warwickshire, although the wreckage of his aircraft hit the German plane causing it to crash as well. Buried in East Hill Cemetery, Dartford.
