- Officer Cadet Thomas Whitecross Nutter, Coldstream Guards. His parents lived in Crayford but he had attended Dartford Grammar School 1931-37. Died 29.1.41, aged 20, cause unknown. Buried in Sandhurst Royal Military Academy Cemetery and commemorated on the Dartford Grammar School In Memoriam Panel.
