- Lance Corporal Horace Alexander Philcox, 4th Battalion, Queen’s Own Royal West Kent Regiment. Presumably lived with his parents at 4 Grosvenor Crescent, Dartford, and previously at 83 Anne of Cleves Road. Died 10.1.44, aged 23, killed in action in Burma (now Myanmar). Commemorated on the Rangoon Memorial.
