- Petty Officer Verdun Louis Robinson, HMS President III shore establishment, Royal Navy. Lived at 29 Banbury Villas, Southfleet. Died 16.5.45, aged 27, of illness at the Royal Naval Hospital, Chatham. Buried in Southfleet (St Nicholas) Churchyard and commemorated on the Southfleet Second World War Memorial Plaque.
