Private Harold George Rose, 1st Battalion, Queen’s Own Royal West Kent Regiment. He had grown up in Swanscombe and his mother still lived at 3 Broomfield Road. Died 29.6.44, aged 19, cause unknown. Buried in Assisi War Cemetery, Italy.
