- Marine Leonard Charles Henry Saunders, Royal Marines. He presumably lived with his parents at 227 Willow Road, Dartford, prior to his marriage in 1940 after which, in his absence, his new wife continued to live with her parents at 96 Havelock Road, Dartford. Died 30.5.41, aged 24, of wounds received on the island of Crete. Buried in Alexandria (Chatby) Military and War Memorial Cemetery, Egypt.
