- Private Maurice Henry Seager, 2/5th Battalion, The Queen’s Royal Regiment (West Surrey). He had grown up in Dartford and his parents still lived at 23 St Martin’s Road. Died 9.9.43, aged 21, killed in action in Italy. Buried in Salerno War Cemetery, Italy.
