- Private Francis (‘Frank’ or ‘Frankie’) George Sherwood, 1st Battalion, Highland Light Infantry (City of Glasgow Regiment). Lived at 15 South Street, Dartford. Died 14.4.45, aged 21, killed in action presumably during the crossing of the River Aller at Rethem, Germany. Buried in Becklingen War Cemetery, Niedersachsen, Germany.
