- Lieutenant Walter Robert Stevens, 4th Battalion, 13th Frontier Force Rifles, Indian Army. His parents lived in Bexleyheath but he had attended Dartford Grammar School 1934-39. Died 13.10.44, aged 21, cause unknown. Buried in Castiglione South African Cemetery, Italy, and commemorated on the Dartford Grammar School In Memoriam Panel.
