Second-Lieutenant Donald Eastburn Waterman, 140 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery. He lived at Northcote, Sutton-at-Hone, and his parents lived at Broomfields, Wilmington, Dartford. Died 28-31.5.40, aged 29, of wounds at Dunkirk. Buried in Dunkirk Town Cemetery, France, and commemorated on the Sutton-at-Hone War Memorial and the Wilmington War Memorial.
