- Signalman Ronald Alfred Lakin, 44th Division Signals, Royal Corps of Signals. Presumably lived with parents at 26 Parsonage Lane, Sutton-at-Hone, prior to marriage. Died 14.11.42, aged 25, in hospital in North Africa. Buried in Moascar War Cemetery, Egypt, and commemorated on the Sutton-at-Hone War Memorial.
