Introduction
Driver Ronald Sidney Woolley, 463 Water Tank Company, Royal Army Service Corps. Lived with his parents at 5 Craylands Square, Swanscombe, prior to his marriage. Died 2.3.44, aged 24, killed on Landing Ship Tank HMS LST-362 when it was torpedoed and sunk in the Bay of Biscay by a German U-boat while returning from Tunisia. Commemorated on the Brookwood 1939-1945 Memorial.
