Killed while a patient in County (West Hill) Hospital, Dartford, on 6.9.40, aged 69, in a bombing incident which killed 22 patients and two nurses. Buried in Watling Street Cemetery, Dartford, and commemorated on the Civilian War Memorial, Watling Street Cemetery, Dartford.
