- Bartholomew Clarkson, of 1 Vernon Road, Swanscombe. Believed to have been killed at The Morning Star public house, 143 Church Road, Swanscombe on 10.11.40, aged 38, in a bombing incident which is believed to have killed approximately 27 people. Buried in Swanscombe Cemetery and commemorated on the Roll of Honour at the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Swanscombe.
