Killed at home on 29.9.40, aged 39, when a bomb scored a direct hit on the family’s air raid shelter killing all four members of the family. Buried in Watling Street Cemetery, Dartford, and commemorated on the Civilian War Memorial, Watling Street Cemetery, Dartford.
