Died of wounds in County (West Hill) Hospital, Dartford, on 1.2.44, aged 25, after having been injured at home on 29.1.44 in an incendiary bomb incident which killed a total of three members of the same family. Buried in Watling Street Cemetery, Dartford, and commemorated on the Civilian War Memorial, Watling Street Cemetery, Dartford.
