Vaughan - Rolls of Honour for servicemen and civilians connected with Dartford who died as a result of the Second World War

Introduction: First Radio Officer Kenneth Raymond Vaughan, SS Gloucester Castle (London), Merchant Navy. Lived at 162 Knockhall Road, Greenhithe. Died 15.7.42, aged 29, when SS Gloucester Castle was shelled and sunk by the German merchant raider Michel in the South Atlantic. Commemorated on the Tower Hill Memorial and on the Greenhithe War Memorial.
