- William Garson of 31 College Street, Northfleet. Died of wounds in Gravesend and North Kent Hospital on 11.11.40, aged 33, having been injured the previous evening at The Morning Star public house, 143 Church Road, Swanscombe, in a bombing incident which is believed to have killed approximately 27 people. Buried in Swanscombe Cemetery.
