Introduction: Ellen Ovenden of The Venture, Hodsoll Street, Ash. Killed while a patient in County (West Hill) Hospital, Dartford, on 6.9.40, aged 59, in a bombing incident which killed 22 patients and two nurses. Buried in Gravesend Cemetery.
