- Edwin Henry Russell of 36 Sun Road, Swanscombe. Killed in Sun Road on 10.11.40, aged 51, in a bombing incident which is believed to have killed approximately 27 people. Buried in Swanscombe Cemetery and commemorated on the Roll of Honour at the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Swanscombe.
