- William Leslie Schofield of 95 Willow Road, Dartford. Killed while working as a storekeeper at the Royal Arsenal, Woolwich, on 7.9.40, aged 37, in a large-scale bombing incident, part of ‘The Great Dockland Raid’, which killed 50 men in the Arsenal alone. Place of burial not known.
