Died from wounds at County Hospital, Farnborough, on 6.2.44, aged 69, having been injured on 24.1.44 at home in an unknown incident. Buried in St John the Baptist Churchyard, Sutton-at-Hone and commemorated on the Sutton-at-Hone War Memorial.
