- Ada White (also known as Adelaide Freemantle) of 66 Swanscombe Street, Swanscombe. Killed while working as a barmaid in The Morning Star public house, 143 Church Road, Swanscombe, on 10.11.40, aged 18, in a bombing incident which is believed to have killed approximately 27 people. Buried in Swanscombe Cemetery and commemorated as Adelaide Freemantle on the Roll of Honour at the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Swanscombe.
