Died from wounds at County (West Hill) Hospital, Dartford, on 1.8.41, aged 41, having been injured the previous day at home when a Hampden bomber crashed on to the house killing three aircrew and three people on the ground. Buried in Watling Street Cemetery, Dartford, and commemorated on the Civilian War Memorial, Watling Street Cemetery, Dartford.
