- Warrant Officer (Flight Engineer) William Frederick Bolton, 199 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Presumably lived with parents at 6 Hillhouse Road South, Stone, Dartford, prior to his marriage. Died 3.5.45, aged 23, when his Halifax bomber collided with another while both were preparing for their bombing run on Kiel. Buried in Kiel War Cemetery, Germany.
