- Private Edward Victor Booker, 5th Battalion, Queen’s Own Royal West Kent Regiment. His mother lived at 19 Beech Road, Dartford. Died 19.5.40, aged 19, killed in action while guarding a bridge near Oudenaarde, Belgium. Commemorated on the Dunkirk Memorial, France.
