- Sergeant (Wireless Op./Air Gunner Herbert Randall Bushell, 115 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Lived with his parents at 8 Waltham Close, Dartford, prior to his marriage. Died 5.9.42, aged 27, when his Wellington bomber was shot down during a raid on Bremen. Buried in Reichswald Forest War Cemetery.
