Dartford high street
Dartford High Street is the heart of the town centre and is a key community events and activities
shopping and leisure hub. It’s also home for Dartford’s historic Thursday & Saturday markets and hosts weekly events and entertainment.
At peak periods, as many as 20,000 people can visit the High Street in a day, and the town centre plays host to brilliant events like our St George's Day parade and our Big Christmas Switch On.

Markets
We hold traditional weekly markets on Thursdays and Saturdays as well as specialty markets including Christmas markets in December.

The meeting place
The Meeting Place unit can be found in the Orchards Shopping Centre, opposite Boots and provides a great community space for local groups to meet.
