Dartford High Street is the heart of the town centre and plays a key part in the community. From hosting events and acitivies for local residents, to providing local shops for everyday essesntials, there is something for everyone.
Historically home to its Markets, Dartford continues to host its regular Thursday and Saturday Markets, alongside weekly entertainment while you enjoy your shopping.
At peak periods, as many as 20,000 people can visit the High Street in a day! And that gets busier when we have events on like our St Geroge's Day Parade and our Big Christmas Switch On.

The meeting place
The Meeting Place unit can be found in the Orchards Shopping Centre, opposite Boots and provides a great community space for local groups to meet.
