Further information for applicants
Regardless of the proposal, applicants will have to be appropriate qualifying organisations. Typically applicants for strategic CIL are:
- Infrastructure service providers e.g. public agencies (including council service departments) where proposed projects demonstrate they meet additional infrastructure needs that would not normally be covered through mainstream provisions. Or:
- In certain circumstances, other organisations e.g. town/parish councils or charitable groups; where, with a constitution, a management structure and appropriate financial governance in place. Groups should adhere to the Council’s terms and conditions on the award of grants.
